• From 1-5pm for musicians entering 4th grade and above with at least one semester of experience and/or private lessons. 
• All instruments including vocals are welcome

2.  Jazz Bands:  Over ten hours of great jazz instruction for $250

• This summer but popular demand we are continuing with our year round programming.  
• Bands will meet for one hour at 5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

As professional musicians and businessmen, we were concerned about the future of Music Education in our schools and specifically JAZZ Education and performance. At the same time, we saw a need for a summer jazz program that would give young people the opportunities we had as we grew as jazz musicians: the experiences of playing and talking to professional musicians in an informal setting, learning about the rich history of the music and artists of Jazz, and most importantly, having the opportunity to play with other musicians.

We believe that live jazz performance gives young people of all musical abilities character traits far more reaching than the mere notes on the page: confidence, personality development, group interaction skills; listening, learning, and building something greater than yourself. These make up the foundation for our journey.
