Over ten hours of great jazz instruction for $250 (limited scholarships available)

• Bands rehearse on Sundays for one hour beginning at 4pm.  Vocal jazz rehearsal times TBD
• Professional musicians sit in with the band at rehearsals and performances
• Sheet music arranged based in the ability of each musician, low student/teacher ratio
• Minimum of one semester instrumental experience required.  Ages 11-17
• An unforgettable musical experience for about half the cost of private lessons, but twice the fun!!!

As professional musicians and businessmen, we were concerned about the future of Music Education for our children locally in our schools and specifically JAZZ Education and performance. At the same time, we saw a need for a summer jazz program that would give young children the opportunities we had as we grew as jazz musicians: the experiences of playing and talking to professional musicians in an informal setting, learning about the rich history of the music and artists of Jazz, and most importantly, having the opportunity to play and perform with other musicians.

We believe that live jazz performance gives young people of all musical abilities character traits far more reaching than the mere notes on the page: confidence, personality development, group interaction skills; listening, learning, and building something greater than yourself. These make up the foundation for our journey.
